授课人简介：Aardra Kachroo博士为美国肯塔基大学植物病理系教授，主要利用拟南芥及大豆与微生物互作，研究植物防御反应机制。目前的研究方向主要包括：解析植物系统免疫反应相关信号的传递机制，解析甘油酯代谢与抗病信号间如何关联，鉴定微生物效应子在植物中对应的靶标，研究受病原微生物及有益微生物诱导的植物反应的异同。近年相关研究发表在Cell Host&Microbe, PNAS, Plant Cell，Cell Reports，New Phytologist，Plant Physiology等杂志上，并在Annu Rev Phytopathol、Current opinion in plant biology等杂志上发表了相关综述文章。
