The spring is in the air all over HZAU in March.On the evening of 4th,the new semester’s first class meeting were going on warmly in spite of the drizzle.Head teachers like Jiang Daohong sat together with their classmates, talking about the winter holiday and looking forward to the new endeavor and future in the new term.The college leadership Chairman of College Council Zhu Zhengning,Dean Yan Jianbing,vice Chairperson of School Council Xiong Hailin,vice Dean Luo Chaoxi, Jiang Hai, Zhu Longfu and Wang Manqun, assistant to the Dean, Guo Liang and Lv Ruikai et.al. went into classes,attended meetings and expressed solicitude to students.
At the class meeting of Class 1710 of Plant Production,Chairperson of School Council, Gao Chi,member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the school and assistant to the President Qi, Wang Congyan,director of the student work department of the Party Committee, Yongzheng,director of the Principal Responsibility Office of the school, Yu Bin,secretary of the League Committee of the school,Zhang Yongjun and Dean Yan together with the class teachers and classmates, conducted a communication. This year coincides with the 120th anniversary of the school, the students of Class 1702 presented to Gao Chi a couplet written as "reading hard for 120 years," followed by "passing flame to the world," and horizontal criticism as "love exists in HZAU". Gao Chi was very pleased and told his entourage to carefully keep the couplet. During the communication, he gave encouragement to the whole classmates.
Besides,in other class meetings,teachers not only asked about students' learning and living conditions in the vacation, but also brought a great gift package on the policy of scholarly exchange,including the international communication channels and support policies of the college. Many students showed great interest,hopeing that they can have a chance after knowing about the connection between our college and universities in Canada, Australia, Singapore, Thailand, Japan and Korea.
Zhu and his entourage visited the students of the Grade 2017 and 2016, and went deep into Grade 2015 to guide their upcoming graduation choices, encouraging them to have new struggle and goal in the new semester and to grasp each day to own a new future. “Everyone should have an accurate positioning of their own, do not drift with the current, to find your own direction, not others, and have your own opinions." Zhu said when talking to students of Class 1505. He hoped that all of them could get their own success.
In the class meetings, students also had a heated discussion on class, personal learning, class construction, collective activities organizing and so on.
